What is career coaching?

Does career coaching work, and what makes it effective?

There is a growing body of evidence that career coaching can enhance:

  • Career optimism and career security through clarifying their career goals.
  • A positive impact on women’s confidence and work-life balance.

Why work with Mindfulness Coaching?

Our areas of specialisation are based on over twenty years of work experience based in multiple countries, starting in small businesses and finishing in multi-billion-dollar corporations and multinationals.

High-performance, bonus-driven, and political environments such as trading floors are where we witnessed first-hand the values that mindfulness coaching can bring.

We have both academic and practical skills in career coaching, covering career development, training, and coaching psychology. We work in the strictest confidence, creating a non-judgemental and psychologically safe space to reflect and grow in your professional life.

We do not provide quick fixes and answers but facilitate inquisition and self-reflection through a structured approach grounded in evidence-based psychological and coaching tools.

We practise within the highest ethical frameworks and boundaries and can support you as you tackle career ambitions, stressors and work-life balance.

We are unable to support you with moderate to severe health symptoms and conditions.

Coaching is not counselling or therapy. If, at any time, I feel you may benefit from alternative approaches, then I will direct you to the appropriate healthcare professional.

What mindset shall we both bring to the coaching alliance?

To maximise the investment in coaching, clients need to come to sessions with an open mind and prepare their topics, goals and timelines. This allows the coach to work with the most suitable coaching models, theories, tools and techniques to maximise your positive outcomes in a focused, timely manner.
